Only player to have ever scored 5 goals in a Champions League match.

He's without doubt the best player we will ever see. He's scored more hat-tricks this season than Carroll and Torres have scored goals.

Indeed. The way he plays is really just fascinating to watch, I live here in Madrid but Barcelona is still my favorite team. He's a playmaker and a goal scorer, and he does it with such finesse, not the shot, but the elegance. He's always defended by 3 or more and manages to always slip through, that takes skill.

    C. Ronaldo has also broken a record. Fastest player to score 100 goals in La Liga. Messi is better of course but everything Messi does is routine. Receive a ball in the box, chip the keeper. Ronaldo's goals are more entertaining to watch for me. Messi is still the better player and that's the reason I don't like him, cause he's TOO good.

Messi's touch and shot are sublime, wouldn't be half the player away from barca though..

Before the Real Madrid and Barcelona derby, Ronaldo declared that he felt he'd been sent by the God of Football to teach the world how they should really play football.
At a press conference at Barcelona, Lionel Messi was asked 'How do you feel that Ronaldo said that he'd been sent by the God of Football to teach the world how to play football'
Lionel Messi replied "I don't remember sending him!"

You guys are forgetting something, Messi hasn't played in the best league in the world, the Barclays Premier League. Messi would never play as good as he does in La Liga because Messi is short with a winy frame. Until he plays in the Premier League, I refuse any comments suggesting he's better than Ronaldo. Also, Messi has the likes of Fabregas, Iniesta, Xavi etc who all the greatest pass masters of all time, put Ronaldo in Barcelona and Messi in Real Madrid and then let's see who's the greatest player.

He's on the form of his life currently, I think Messi would be good in the premier league as well. Look at players such as David Silva, Paul Scholes and Nathan Dyer, they're not exactly big and they can still do their roles effectively, and have been good this season.

Arsenal used to beat Stoke when they had the same tiki taka style as Barcelona and a similar type of team, I think Barcelona would probably win against them because they would have so much possession. But the Stoke players would probably get angry and start playing rugby against them.

Yeah, Messi is probably a better/more efficient player than CR7, but... I don't know, I can't seem to start liking him; despite being obviously godly, he's just a little prick ;p.
