Teamviewer Scam

Ok, so im doing my services ya know, a guy doesnt want to give his info so he insist i log on using teamviewer, so i load it up he says before he pays he wants to see my wealth to makesure im not scamming, so im like yeh sure, so i bring out my ~600m, 450m cash some bandos arcane ags etc hes like ok, then my mouse gets disabled, his abled and he trades it all to his account within like 5 seconds.. this NEEDS TO BE FIXED.

That sticky clearly shows the teamviewer scam. We can't stop them from scamming you.

Man i feel sorry for you ( hope this gets fixed

 

you could of just unplugged your internet/DSL cable and that would have stopped the connection and that stops all incoming and outgoing transactions then just restart your computer

 

Very smart stui and if he wants to verify if you have the rsgp why dont you meet him in rs and trade him common sense but sorry for your loss

sorry for your loss but the stickies are there for a reason, I would recommend reading all of them in the markets, it'll help you avoid all known scams.

Sorry for your loss, but unfortunately, it happens. That's why there are multiple stickies trying to prevent this scam method from becoming popular again. If you feel anything fishy going on with them wanting to use TV, your best bet is to report them in the Report a Scammer section, and see what the mod's point of view would be.

 

put yourself in the situation, it was a quick 10 seconds of panic lawl but in all realilty i didnt care

 

no i didnt report the user as he never contacted me on sythe, it was my mistake. and im pretty sure the chat logs would be enuf to ban him

Feel sorry for you man, This happened to on of my friends on here called Zajarman, he had the exact same thing happened and lost his Red Mask, AGS and cash.

I haven't checked that Teamviewer thread yet so I better go look now.


One other point, can a staff member please chack Skylight's posts? (^Guy above me^)
He spamms nearly all the new threads with things such as "You're a Newcomer, no one will buy this", which I find a bit hippocritical.

Anyways none of my business, just he joined a few days ago and seems to be spamming for post count, same as what Churraow does.

Oh right, sorry. Yeah, you can just report a post by clicking at the top right of every post. I've already gone through his posts though and checked and infracted a few anyway.

 

Ouch, sorry to hear. Try using Skype screen-share next time as that is a better alternative that I use.

I've actually never known how people scam using Teamviewer but just read the sticky. :/
