Well, you are not going to be able to fully customize a laptop, you would have to buy one new. You could build a desktop though that will out perform easily the laptop while saving money. But then again you wouldn't of said laptop if you didn't need it to be mobile.

true, you cannot make a customized laptop your self, it would be years if you can make a customized desktop out of 10 dollars through runescape, a customized desktop should be at least 1000 dollars or is not worth the money.

The processor is not good for gaming and there is no graphics card.

Um to help fill in your blanks:

    Mobo (click)

    Different PSU (click)

Get rid of that AMD (click)

RAM (I just put in the same kind) (click)

^You might want to check if you are buying a CPU cooler because the ram sits kinda tall.

    Graphics Card (click)

If you have about $100 you can upgrade your mobo to the p8p67-deluxe. I recommend that to everyone.

Ah okay makes sense looking at your build now, the one I posted above would be a better choice if you want to invest in something that will hold up strong in the future, but your build is solid for what you want to do with it.

Sorry about the laptop confusion, I read laptop in the original post =p.

Also, be wary buying from xoxide, I purchased most of my fans and accessories from them and when I recieved them the package was ripped and crumbled and the parts seemed to just be thrown in. I will post a picture that I took later. Just a heads up because I wouldn't want your case to be hurt.

you might want to get a better power supply with more watts for future upgrades, and stick with the brands like corsair, cooler master, seasonic, whitestone and antec. for case i suggest a little bigger also for future upgrades , I also reccomond the asrock extreme4 gen3, is so much better than your motherboard and is the same price, except for it uses lga 1155.

First off, you'll get better performance out of an intel (but that's not the argument I'm making.)(you SHOULD go with intel, even if it's a bit more expensive, but again, no pressure.)

Second, I'd go with an Athlon II x4 641 if you end up staying with AMD. It's a quad core that performs better (I'd say like 10-15%) than the processor you have listed, for $30 less.. Cheaper and more powerful.. (you'd probably have to buy this on Amazon or something since Newegg doesn't sell it)

Third, GPU. If you want a cheap one, at least get a 6850 for about $140.. Yeah, the one you picked is cheap, but if you ever want to play anything other than Runescape, that will be the first thing you'll need to upgrade.. Then, when you have a $300 GPU in your machine you'll be looking at that shitty ass $100 gpu like, "what a waste of money, it just sits there." Don't skimp on the GPU or pick out a cheap one without doing the research..If you can't afford the $140 one, AT LEAST toss $10 extra dollars into it for the $119, 6790. Again, both offer much better performance than the one you picked..

Fourth, I don't like your case, lol..

Fifth, You have a 500gb HD for $90; you can get twice that for $110.. Seems illogical to get the cheaper one, unless $10 is a huge deal to you.. Also, I recommend WD Caviar Blacks.. Not blues, Not greens, BLACKS.. Nobody ever gets black even though they're the most solid drives on the market.. Fuck an extra $20 dollars. $20 now for a better disk or lose $2k + worth of tv shows and movies I've collected.. Common sense really.

I'm done lol, I had to rant about a lot of the stuff

You really gave me alot to think about, thanks. I will be using the Athlon II x4 641 and i will most likey upgrade the few things you said. I am a beginner and that really does help by writing all this out and saying "you should get this BECAUSE this and this" not just get this. you are truly helpful kill dank :)

My gaming desktop cost me $420, it is not the most powerfull pc out there, but it does everything I want it to.

OP don't listen to people who tell you to spend tons of money, get
the things you need and don't waste money, I bought my gpu and hard drive used and they work fine, this can really save you money. Also check out new egg, I liked them better when i was building my PC. As far as actually constructing your build just watch videos on youtube there are tons out there, its really quite simple.

Exactly what i was talking about with friends.. Get a good video card, processor, Hard drive, and some decent memory and i can upgrade the rest at a later time.

I cheaped out on the case and that is the only thing i regret. Its small and that made assembling it frustrating, and later on i will need to get a new one if i want to get a larger size GPU.But it cost me $25 and i knew what i was getting.

    my build

    GPU- Radeon hd 1gb 4850-$50

    mobo- click here-$60

    cpu- click here $125

    memory- click here-$20

    optical drive- $22

psu- click here--$55 when i got it

    case- click here

hdd- used western digital blue 160 gb of amazon- $36

the rest was in shipping i believe (i bought a small hdd becuase i had a 500gb external laying around)

i had left over mouse/ keyboard/ speakers, my monitor was a early bday present.

i wish you best of luck

Never buy a used or refurbished HD unless you never plan on keeping anything you don't want to lose on it.. GPU is fine for the most part..

Remember, refurbished means it was broken, someone sent it back, they "fixed" it and repackaged it to sell again..

Used comes straight from the person who used it previously and with things like HD's and GPU's and almost any computer part there is a chance it will not work.

So never buy ANYTHING used, there's always a chance it's broken.
    Makes alot of sense.
