Ranged Tanks

Hello. I was watching a video by RuneSharkVideos and he was wearing this armour:



and now I want one :nuts: What are your views on getting:



(The attack,strength and summoning levels I'm not sure about)

So I can do some PvM (Player v Monster) with full Armadyl Ranged armour, along with a Divine Spirit shield

 

74 prayer and get rigour. Get barrow gloves , keep attack and str to a minimum (only gain it from quests) and try get swift gloves.

 

Won't I need Temple of Sennisten?

But that will give me access to deflection prayers and soul split.

there's a 78 att/str req for swift gloves, so that'll make you melee based.

Also, why keep summoning at level 1? Awesome skill tbh.

 

since your stats are small, you must start small! train other skills like slayer that provide more worth to the account, but remember that cannons while training slayer makes it faster.

 

A beast of burden would help.

To start the quest you dont need 78str/attack you can try beat the queen with only range


And it would be nice if it was 74 prayer rather than 92 .

 

You'll only need 92 Prayer for Soul split. Or you could stay at 74 Prayer and get rigour. You save 3 levels if you stick with rigour, rigour also provides great range and def bonuses. If I were you, I'd go with 74 Prayer, not to mention you'd save 200M in bones.

A ranged tank cannot obtain a pair of swift gloves unless you get 78 atk and str. Mercenary gloves is the way to go. Curses is only required for mage bank pking else its rigour. But if you're gonna get 90 prayer for divine, you might aswell get 92 and get curses.

 

Divine needs 75 prayer and you should get the chaotic range shield.

I haven't played RuneScape in a while, so I need to know what's going on

Divine is 75 prayer and 75 defence, so I'll have to get 1 more prayer level for that. And rigour is on the list now instead of curses.

Go with 74 prayer as others have said, and get mercenary gloves.

And diff between mercenary and swift gloves is like 1 cb.

 

I was thinking of using Armadyl as it has the highest range bonus in the game.

you can have 70 att and str and still be 9-11 melee levels away from an extra cb lvl
