Has jagex commented on the SOF?

Have they made any comment on how the entire community thinks that being able to buy spins is retarded? Or are they being hush hush and not giving a fuck?

 

They probably wont respond to it, and even if they do they wont change anything. They have a history of not listening to their community, especially when they are making money from it. All the SoF is, is a ploy for them to make more money. They are slowly ruining their game.

Yeah i agree with everything you said except one thing, they aren't slowly killing their game, they're doing it very fast imo.

Go to sorceress garden/green dragons/other heavily botted spots im unaware of and tell me hundreds of level 3 bots running around is not bad for the game. How do you think legit players feel? How would you feel if you were a new player and decided to do sorc garden/green drags for money? Real world trading, botting, it's all bad for the avarage' user gaming experience.

 

It's Jagex's fault if the game gets destroyed, by realeasing crappy ass updates like this.

They don't care. Look at how many people have purchased 75 spins, it's an easy $20 for them, they've probably already made thousands.

 

Jagex is keeping quiet atm, I don't think they have much of say in their business anymore, since they sold out 50% to those investors last year. It makes sense if you think about it, Andrew Gower left the board and Paul Gower has disappeared, they must have known something about the future direction of Jagex before they left.

If Andrew Gower was still in charge, this most certainly would have never happened.

 

People, please stop complaining, Jagex is a company.

I think that post was most likely directed at the post above it asking how it's rwt.

OT: I think it's one thing if jagex is seen as fighting against bots/rwt, and another if they are supporting rwt, even if bots are running rampant, legit player can just say " oh that's just for rule breakers" but when Jagex is behind the rwt, it is much easier to feel as if legitimate accomplishments are worth less than they used to be because someone who has more money than brains has bought a lot of spins and gotten the XP through that.

 

As far as I'm aware, Jagex has failed to respond to the community's outrage at all. I've been in Mod Mark's FC the last few days to debate the issue, and literally EVERYBODY opposes the idea. Yet as soon as Mod Mark comes in the FC, the ranks start kicking every single person who mentions to SoF and Mark told everybody to take their feedback to the forums where "another department is dealing with it." I asked him what "dealing with it" meant and he did not respond.

Truthfully though, I don't think Jagex gives a flying fuck how much we hate the SoF and the micro-transactions and hypocrisy. They are making money and that is all that matters..

 

To be honest, the SOF is not all that bad, generally all people get from 75 spins is about 100-200k exp and not that much cash to go along with it. If it makes them happy good, but there are much better ways to spend your money to earn exp and cash

I think the problem is the principle. Jagex were so heavily against RWTing, using real life money to buy items in game, when they are doing just that with the latest update.
Thats the real issue for me.
