    Sythe username: CupcakeNinja

She's attempting to chargeback after receiving her goods, what a shame.

This is why I don't use PayPal.

Just be cautious dealing with people here. First scam and I'm extremely wary of selling the rest of my inventory on Neopets.

I don't remember their Sythe username, we barely spoke on here.

It was via gift option but they're using unauthorized access as a dispute.

People are so dumb *facepalm* So so so sad. I actually worked mine out with the buyer so fingers crossed yours works out as well! It is so sad that people are willing to this to one another over virtual items that are suppose to be for fun :(

It's really pathetic. I still have a lot more to sell but am extremely uncomfortable doing so now.

Wow... I didn't think you could do it via gift option?? Did you save your pms?? You could create a scam report. And, do what i do. i make people include a note w/the gift option payment saying that they recieved their items and will not chargeback.

You didn't want to do a trade with me yesterday through PP even though I have vouches to prove that I pay for my orders. I'm surprised that you did a trade to this member who just joined Sythe yesterday.

If you were scammed then report it on the scam report and include screenshots.

I spoke to her for a good few hours straight and then she seemed trustworthy. She even offered to go first. I would have never thought she would file an unauthorized claim to try and dispute this.

The main reason I don't use PayPal is situations like this. From now on, it's WU/Moneygrams/MoneyPaks.

It's pointless trying to even put forth a scam report considering I don't have the private messages.

You should be fine.. why? because usually... if you file an unauthorization, it has to be on a diff ip, but when you try to send money on diff ip, your account gets limited... so i'm sure if you work with paypal, you'll get the money off hold.. if not sorry dude.

Althou, people can use a proxy and such. It's unlikely that she charged back the $100 w/o any plan at all behind it. ): Scammers suck, bottom line.

    Unfortunately, I have a feeling I'm at a $100 loss.

Most people here use PP and considering I don't want to use PP anymore, my attempts to sell the rest of my goods will be going downhill.

Sieu Phan is onto a point aslong as PayPal pay due diligence to the case i doubt they where smart enough to spoof PayPal so it should be in your favour.

Rainbowdog it's not the same as using a proxy on Neopets and most people who can work out how to do it correctly would not waste their time getting involved in such petty disputes.

It's a shame there is a substantially large number of scammers here. That being said you do find a few very good ones too. I must say though I do cringe every time someone says "Will you accept WU" and I have to turn it down and ask if they have PayPal lol.

You always end up converting it to PayPal and incurring charges to continue trading =/. Unfortunately WU is not as widely accepted.

I don't buy often so using WU is one of my best options.
