Login E-mail- Can you change it?

So...I bought an account back in December. Today I decided I was going to play on it and found that the password had been changed, so I had my own email setup for recovery. I tried using the recoveries that I received when the account was made, and I know the login email was correct because I had logged onto it multiple times before-hand. The recovery was denied. However, because I setup the e-mail, I was able to reset the password. So I did just that, firstly I typed the password into Notepad, then copy/pasted it to the form. At that point, I proceeded to go to the login form and used the same email (triple checked) and the new password I created. For some very odd reason, I received a "Login failed".

So, my question today is, can the login email be changed? If so...I got screwed over on 40 bucks haha.

EDIT: Hmmmm...nevermind, seems as though now the password finally worked. But I would still like this question to be answered, as I would like a different login email!

 

Nope, cant change the login email.

 

No, because if it could then if anybody hacked your account they could just change the login email and you wouldn't even be able to submit a recovery.

Nope you can't change your email it says ''For accounts created after the 24th of November 2012, please use your email address to login.'' that means all accounts created now days has to log in with email and cannot be changed =]
