RSBot/ PowerBot is back! to those who disbelive!

It's been back and forth for years... one will be ahead of the other and vice versa. As long as there are people who want to bot, there will be bots. They can slow it down, make it harder, and more. But it will never end, it's a war.

 

As somebody who bot farms, I can absolutely say that it'd be dumb to try and rely on powerbot for right now.

Their history suggests malicious activity, and lots of it.. Even their staff members are malicious.

If you insist on using powerbot nonetheless, be extremely weary.

Not only have they got a malicious staff team and history, they've never been the ones to be able to rely on.

To those who use PB, good luck; you'll need it.

 

The grammar alone in this thread almost kept me from posting..

Jagex just demolished reflection bots, that's why they've taken so much time to come back. Sure the next bot nuke will be just as bad as the first, if not worse.

But, who knows.. A new company owns more then half of Jagex now, and perhaps they will allow bots to come back into the game since it means a bigger profit margin.

For you who don't know, Andrew Gower sold the rest of his stocks in Jagex - 35% worth - and a new company owns more than half of Jagex's stocks.

PS. I'd be weary of using Powerbot, or any other "working" reflection/injection bot.

 

I have yet to find a reliable chicken killer and feather looter/etc. from Simba, so unless I find something that I can efficiently use soon I'll have to resort to shitty sources like PB

Powerbot is pretty unreliable in my opinion, one of there best admins stole a f**** load of RSGP i think last year?

You should just use Epicbot, i have had no troubles with it and they update it very regularly

 

I personally hate Powerbot and I dislike the fact that it is back again.. It is so easy for leechers and noobs to download and run, then they crash the rs market by selling stuff at low prices. Also, it takes them weeks to accomplish simple updates that could be fixed in minutes. I can't wait until it gets nuked again.

 

Apparently they are 100% legal in the UK and have no copyright issues. They are safe.

 

For those who are saying to be cautious of PB, what else do you recommend? SCAR/SIMBA scripts never seem to work with me, no matter how long I try.

 

I suggest trying harder, there are plenty of guides and people who will assist you over teamviewer.

 

RS had the correct copyright status in the UK but not in the US. Jagex didn't file the correct copyright paper in the US, so if it was being developed in the US it would be a different story but to my knowledge they're fully copyrighted under the EU or whatever does copyrights in Europe.

 

Powerbot isnt even up. Its the trial version and you can't even add scripts

I thought that timer like finished his bot or something like a long time ago. Like along the same time as whats his face from rsbuddy finished his at runefest.

And I wouldn't be surprised if that will be the case ha.

 

I wouldn't trust any closed source bot especially powerbot and epicbot.

 

ChickenKiller by Naracle is the best chicken killer out there. It's able to run for weeks on end without making a single mistake. The only problem is random events. However, the script is not leacher friendly...

 

I'd personally rather not risk the botting accounts I have with the previous nuke black marks until after this bot nuke happens - it is inevitable that a lot of bot accounts will get banned. Especially because the current scripts (Green drag bots especially) are very buggy and are obvious bot programs to a normal player.

 

at tme moment i would use simba all the time
it's great! with epicbot you just get your items stolen
and never save your account infos when you use a bot like epicbot!
installed epicbot, logged in with a few account (also my main with 30m)
but only saved the account data from my wc bitch, a few days later, there was a different ip for that account (china ip) and they stole my stuff (150k was all on that acc) really sad
