Things you thought about Sythe.org when you first joined.

at first i thought it was a great community then i got scammed over 80$ -.-

 

Didn't realize community was for more than buy/sell stuff and I love that about sythe

 

At the time I had not logged into my runescape account for like 2 years and my friend told me I should sell it online. I was going to try ebay but it was too confusing at the time so I just searched something like runescape account sale to research how other people easily sold their accounts and Sythe must have popped up. So I sold my main for around $250 and my pure for around $40. I never had any trouble getting them to go first even though I was completely new. And they never ended disputing the paypal either. So my first impression of Sythe was pretty good.. until I sold like 400k WoW gold to someone for $1.5k paypal and they disputed and won.

 

Sythe = Got me interested in runescape again great community as well if you know the right people : )

 

Well, I've got a lot of gp I want to sell and get regular gp so I looked and Sythe and Power Bot and decided to join Sythe because Sythe seems more controlled both spam and scam wise.

 

I used to think Verts and Sin must be lying about being girls, cause I couldn't imagine a girl actually knowing what RuneScape and WoW are :S

that it was just for buying gold and selling then i realized all of the many sections and started being a post whore and posting and getting into alot of topics and just getting into the website, and now im on it every day

 

when i first joined sythe i thought it was full of scammer,too much people buy big amount gold

 

I thought i was going to be a billionaire, Lol.

 

Everyone is a scammer.

 

i thought it would be full of scammers like anyother black market site... and i was right LOL but other then that its a good community

 

I originally thought Sythe was a Bitcoin community, because interestingly enough the first post I saw was

Though back then it was a mass of text. After a while I got the whole RS scene and since I was trying to use RSBot anyways I joined and made a skilling service.

 

I was (and still am) impressed by the amount of activity in the market section

 

I was amazed that people payed real money (I'm talking thousands of dollars) for pixels..

 

when i first heard about it i thought it would be full of scammers, cus of all the sales going on but i figured out thats it's all about reputation, and people wouldn't risk their reputation just for like 50m or something. now i love it though its a great place to talk and exchange in game items/currency/ideas/accounts

 

I want to open up a gold shop

 

I thought Sythe was all about selling/buying, and not just virtual stuff but like real stuff. (Non-Virtual) I joined the community and just got to where I am today.

 

I joined to sell/buy some RS things and scammers added me thinking i was stupid, man the things they said lol.

 

I thought it was the craigslist of virtual goods, just like it says in the title.
