Guide Section

I think that the guide section should be changed around a bit, instead of having

RuneScape Guide & eBook Sales
Runescape Verified Guides
Real Life/Miscellaneous Guide & eBook Sales
Real Life Verified Guides

it should be
Virtual Guides & eBook Sales
Virtual Verified Guides
Real Life/Miscellaneous Guide & eBook Sales
Real Life Verified Guides

Because i have been seeing guides that dont have a place in IRL or Runescape going everywhere, for example the xbox guide for unlimited gamertag changes in the xbox section when it should be in the guide section but it has nowhere to go: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?p=10768426#post10768426

no there isn't, that's why I'm suggesting this

 

The words in bold explains why everything else goes there.

 

That is where the "miscellaneous" part of the name comes into play. That section caters to predominately RuneScape guides, not so much other "virtual" related things. But, if anyone ever wanted to make a thread that isn't related to RuneScape, you could do so in the "Real Life/Miscellaneous Guide & eBook Sales" section. That being said, no support.

 

Yes but most people wouldn't read that, they would just read real life and think o, i wonder where my maplestory guide goes ill just post it wherever i feel like

 

Not necessarily, I caught on to that easily. If you think many members do that, can you link me to threads that are in the wrong section because of the 'confusing' section names. Besides, just because if someone doesn't know where to post a thread, that doesn't mean they're going to post his or her thread anywhere they feel like.

 

that above message for was apith wulf, and i edited it but it seemed to disappear. so anyways back at your statement, if i saw Real Life in a section i wouldn't even think of putting a virtual guide in there because its the complete opposite of the 1st part

That is not necessarily in the wrong section, it's related to Xbox. Can you bring up threads which are in the wrong places with the sections YOU brought up?

 

Would a guide to making money online go in the virtual section or the real life???? I think this would just cause confusion.
