I need advice!

Hello fellow scapers', to start it off basically I have a main account, which I did not originally make, some random did. They got the says to around 30 all around and made it mems for a couple of months. This was back I like 2003-4-5? I have had it ever since 05' and have made it mems on and off. It is also holding quite a bit of wealth, and I got 99 pray and herb on it with a rare name.. Is it possible for that person to recover their account? If so, what information would they have to remember in order to recover my account? Thanks.

You shouldn't worry about it at all

As long as you have things like membership info/recovs/email etc it's yours

However...

If the original creator did not change his ip and it's still the same after all these years (highly doubtful which is why I think you'll have no trouble keeping it).. then yes he does have a chance.. if the account were to get locked, he would probably be able to get it back..

Saying that you've had the account for this long and have recoveries and an e-mail attached to it. (I'm assuming) I think your safe. About the bank and rare name, just have a bank pin for the cash, and if the original owner DOES recover they won't know about the ability to name change because it is fairly new, so you could just recover it off him and transfer everything.

 

The original IP will in most cases always win a recovery, no matter what info a person has. I doubt the person is on the exact same IP from years back, I wouldn't really worry about it.

 

I have been able to get my old account back which was stolen maybe 2006, didn't have the same IP and I just said "Check my IP" in the Additional info box and got it back.

Could be because nobody has played on it for 1000+ days but theres a chance.

 

Yes that makes sense, thankyou. I dare say he had a dynamic IP which would have changed by now.. Many times. + I logged into runescape classic the other day and long behold, there was one of his ip's so I copied that down and so Im pretty sure I have alot more info than he/she would have haha.
