    Party Help

I'm throwing a party for around 100-200 people in 2 weeks and was wondering how much alcohol I should get. I know for a fact many people will be on other drugs and therefore not drinking but what is a rough estimate of the minimum-maximum amount of alcohol a crowd like this could consume.

    (just vodka and beer)

I was thinking of getting about 10 bottles and 100 cans of beer.

EDIT: There is a cover fee for the party and DJ's and lights will be present. It is an underground warehouse rave that I'm throwing!

I honestly think your should get a lot more than that.. because if one person has a beer no doubt in my mind they will want another lol..
But then again you don't know if everyone will drink :/

Shouldn't everybody be bringing their own drinks? That'd get really expensive paying for that many people to drink.

Yeah I posted an edit about that.

I just don't want to buy too much alcohol when I know many people will be rolling and/or tripping.

If you're throwing a party with about 100 - 200 people, and you plan on getting only 100 beers, there'll be like 100 people left wondering where's the beer at.
I suggest you buy 2 or 3 kegs for 100 - 200 people, and around 10 - 20 bottles should be good. And whenever the kegs are done, just refill them and you're ready to go.

Most people can easily drink 12 cans of beer to themselves at a party so i'd suggest making it BYO. Or as suggested above maybe a few large kegs.

Sounds like it's going to be a sweet party though.

unless you have the means i suggest you stick to one product, light beer. at that ratio id say 1 case for ever 4 people. plus 1 case for ever 10. so if 40 people came you would have 14 cases of light beer. which is 9 beers for each person. over 4 1/2 hours that is one beer ever half hour.

Also heir a licenses bar tender to sever alcohol. They would likely do it for $300 , and charge $1 or $2 per beer producing profit.

3 or 4 kegs, but use one at a time. cuz you may have like 1 left over, instead of 2 half empty ones.. When I got a keg, there were like 10-15 people around for about 4 hours or so, then me and 3 other people finished off the rest afterwords. A keg is probably like 160 beers if you count for the foam and bottom of the glass shit people don't drink.

Going for a bare minimum of 20 handles and hopefully 1 or 2 kegs. I think I'll have this covered hopefully!

100 beers would be good for like 5 people if they're in cans or like 7 if they're in bottles.
