Opinions post bot nuke?

Basicly play Runescape for PvM and Pking and yes I have botted 60% of my account which is 130

 

I miss pre-bot nuke days. Was making a lot more money then I am these days.

 

I don't think bots were ever the sole problem that is leading RS to its inevitable demise. Although it was a large part of the problem, I believe that there are many factors that are contributing to the downfall of Runescape.

Bots are coming back in large numbers at the moment though, and so until the new Optimus software rolls out, the "post bot nuke" effects really do not seem all that apparant right now as you can find spam bots and combat bots almost anywhere in the game that you look.

 

True to an extent, but the main difference about bots coming back is that they are most definitely not as stable as the likes of RsBuddy or NeXus, most of the bots/clients today cannot even solve 100% of the randoms, so I think that needs to be taken into consideration.

I agree though that bots were not the main problem with Runescape's declining popularity, I think they were perfect for Jagex because it allowed them to place the blame on bots, as opposed to their game becoming less enjoyable.

 

as a legit player i love the game post-nuke. going to be hard to get back to my old cash 100m cash stack though..

 

It has actually gotten better since the nuke. The problem with other bots is how easy they can be used by complete noobs. Many people leeched them and destroyed the prices of many items. Not as many people know about simba and you can make good money off of it since the prices have slowly risen again.
