Need some help finding out more about this process.

Well im on my work computer and got curious about if my activity was being monitored or if i was being remotely viewed by my admin/boss.

I found a Minituner.exe process , Ive googled and googled and binged...altavista and even hakia.com 'ed it! I cant get an answer on what it does?? Could someone please help me out here.. also if your feeling generous list some possible process names that may be related to monitoring software.

Judging by that description I would say its monitoring your computer. I would look for other sources as well. This is the source: http://www.file.net/process/minituner.exe.html

If it's at work, I would maybe ask a coworker or maybe the boss to see if your being monitored. In my high school business class were actually discussing the ethical issues behind tracking user without them knowing.

 

Thank you Dschizzle, i read that one as well but wasnt sure if it was actually monitoring for specifics..or what its monitoring? im trying to figure out what its sending/recieving?

 

Try downloading process explorer (put it on a USB. It's a utility do it doesn't need to be installed) Then run that and try to suspend the process.
