Another attempt at rebranding

Just spent another 2 minutes (as always) attempting to rebrand (again) my web & graphics company. So far, I have come up with a very basic concept and produced it. Before we start, I'd just like to say I came up with this in maths while designing a Pythag poster.

White version for Sythe:



Blue version for website:



Changed the white version a little: (N is now cut out and text is sythe color)



I'm in the middle of designing a mascot; may take a while though, it's approaching summer and that means a bit of sun!

Fix the kerning of the logotype - look how fat and close together the 'hon' looks in comparison to 'pyt', it just doesn't fit nicely.
It's also far too angular in general for the fonts you're using - look at how squarish the general shape is and how curved the little font is.
I like the concept of the logo, but it could be far more stylish, better executed and web 2.0

As for the font, I could round off the top left of the P and the bottom left of the N if that would do?

Instead of making it the Sythe colour, you could just make it transparent and save it as .PNG. As for the logo itself, I really like it. It's sort of "abstract" yet you can easily read what it says.

Sorry I've been away for so long, will get more active again!

 

Font choice of web and graphics could be changed, and I feel the actual main text is a little too thick. It needs some more details, perhaps some 1 pixel black lines to follow the edges of the text (like in the middle of the text).
