Why are ini pures good?

I watched Bonesaw's video where he is testing his old initiate pure and he didn't kill anyone. If I remember right.

 

They get wrecked by turmoil pures.

 

Oh, you need the corrupt vest equipment to be good, but that costs 20.5M and lasts 15 minutes, so you need to switch.

Depends what level you are, and if you go for 60 attack or 99, and if you get 77 prayer or not.

 

One def = Pj/Rushing Targets.
20 def = Less pjs/Less rushes

Don't forget mystic robes, they can attain a nice magic bonus as opposed to robes/ghostly. the ghostly hood is only 1 less magic bonus than the ghostly hood. Also being higher combat, a lot of rune pures would like to fight you, and you're only risking initiate and some dds.

Mystic Robes, Enchanted, Dagon'Hai, Rune Gloves, Mithril Defenders, Initiate (Prayer Bonus).

 

Not too sure if this is help but as of what i have seen, because of the vengence hit, basically they get hit damaged and it reflects the vengeance damage which allows them to hit twice in 1 hit.

 

I was discussing that earlier on infact, but I think I'd still go with a 1 defence pure.

A defender is a good point. They have a strength bonus if they are steel+

They can use vesta/statius and in the mid 20s can have turmoil

 

I've never liked init pure. Looks ugly too lol.

 

Only thing with corrupt statius is that it costs 15M+ and only lasts 15 minutes, but that's why you switch for spec

Turmoil needs a minimum of ~30 defence I think it is.

A lot of pures switch to 20 defence as they get bored of their previous style of pking. Change is good! Which is why a lot of pkers have more than 1 account for it .

 

In the old days, you basically got 20 defence for that very helpful prayer bonus on your initiate armor - along with a mithril defender for that extra defence + strength bonus.

Nowadays, it's not really that worth it unless you would pk with corrupt pk armors.

 

i think their main benefit over regular 1 def pures is that they can use corrupt armour which gives them HUGE bonuses over pures.
