I'm upgrading a couple of things.

Processor - Great choice, I have the same one and it can pretty much handle anything you throw at it.

PSU - I have the exact same, only it's the 650W. It's fine, but what what GPU are you looking at? As you won't always need something as high as 850W if you have a GPU that doesn't need as much power.

Motherboard - I have a different one, but it's ASUS so you know it's good. It looks fine and decently priced.

It would be great if you could tell what GPU, case, RAM you're looking at.

Well, my GFX Card is a Gigabyte GTX560 OC and with the PSU I have now I had to take out a molex on one of my fans to power it. So I need a power supply with more than 3 molex connectors so I can use molex to 6-pin connectors for the Graphics card.

And my case and RAM are fine. I've got an Antec 300 case and Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x 4GB) @ 1600MHz.

I have an ASUS GTX 560ti, it runs COD and other games like a dream, it's a really good GPU. If you need that for your for PSU then fair enough, Corsair are a really good brand regardless.

I don't see a problem with the RAM or the case.

Yeah, although my case is a legacy case and it's been loved for many years, the cable management isn't so good. I'm thinking of getting a Phantom 410 Black which seems to have very good cable management and space.

As for the PSU, I need the upgrade anyways. The one I have no isn't a very "reliable" brand.

Drop it to the normal 2500 if you aren't going to overclock, if you are pick up a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo, cheap but provides good temperatures on an overclock.

You could also wait for Ivy Bridge, a few Z77 chipset boards are already out for pre-order/sale in Australia.

Sorry by "2500" do you mean the CPU? I'm not very familiar with Intel CPU's and sockets..yet.

Also, I could wait for Ivy Bridge, but I'd rather not save up that much cash. I think the i5 1155 is fine I think. (That's as much as I know about Intel CPU's and sockets so far.)

Thanks, I can't stand AMD anymore. Intel are 10x better.

Yes, he meant the CPU. There is the 2500 and the 2500k, the 2500 is slightly cheaper but you cannot overclock it. The 2500k is slightly higher priced but you overclock up to 5Ghz if you wanted to.

    Intel > AMD.

Well, I'll be wanting to overclock anyways, so I'll get the 2500k. Thanks for your help.

Looks like you have chosen some good, solid parts right there. Should suit yours needs well.
