    Currently have one from [email protected]

    Fake?

    I get loadddsssssssssssss of em by posting my msn on here.. I'll upload pic later but in the last week I have 70+ inbox of them.. kinda sad.. Anyways what are the phishy ones vs real ones?

    The real ones will address you by your runescape character's name, the fake ones just say "Dear, blank" or "Dear, player".

    Anything threatening legal action against you is fake, anything saying you have a ban/offence is fake, anything about real world trading is fake

    Anything starting with "Dear Player" I laugh at. They only contact you via in-game messaging system, thought people would have learned that by now.

    I thought same until recently I added mems and got email from Jagex saying thank you but it didn't have a link in it though.

    You will get emails about the loyalty program from Jagex. There isn't anything you should need to click though.
