Rule about editting sale threads

Hi,

There should be a rule against sellers modifying their (account) sale threads to things like "Sold!" after they sell it to someone. When they do this, there is no future reference against them if they try to sell the account again, we can't compare their old sale thread to their new one.

This has just happened to me, i bought an account for $225, the guy recovered like 6-7 months later and is selling again, I went back to his old thread and tried to compare to his new one, but the old thread just has "SOLD!" on it.. I can't compare the pictures.. and the guy now gets away with scamming.

 

As far as I know, mods can view the pre-edited version.

No we can't... It take too much database space and might not be in this version of vB.

 

Hopefully they decide to upgrade soon, I know other bulletin software has that functionality.

In that case, I agree with this - the same thing has happened to me during one of my first trades that I did on Sythe (with PeachLeaves or something like that).

 

Its a feature of vB4 that'll we'll be endorsing in to no end, until then, sorry, but we cant enforce the rule since some buyers request the info to be removed.
