Desert Treasure on 1 prayer? (No P I P)

Hello, tonight i just read a behind the scenes of jagex.



Does that mean, more than over 500,000 Pure accounts have just wasted a few extra CB levels for a pathetic update?

I'm mad.

 

Never knew they would do it without making a big deal, as Desert Treasure is a very important quest for pures. Thanks for sharing, I'm really happy about that infact

 

Same, but i have been working on many pures - Really unfair that such a huge impact on pures JUST occured My pure atm 60 Attack, DT done, 12 Prayer, 1 def, 99 range/ 99 mage, 90 strength, 75 HP, 69 CB.

I am sad

 

Just wanted to do the quest on my pure, so I'm happy.

 

See, Jagex needs to knock-it-off with these ridiculous updates.
And now pures can get C-Boots w/o leveling attack.

 

You need Priest in Peril to even start the quest or the quest itself is a requriement

 

I don't think they're going to remove that as a requirement as they haven't removed it from the RS database or ingame. But if they do, I'm happy.

 

I think they just removed it because it cut off a lot of the map just for the quest to be finished.

 

Jagex's updates are even worse every time

 

Why stick around if you don't like the way there updating there game? I know if i didnt enjoy the updates i would be LONG gone but i love ALMOST every update they made since free trade has come back.

 

The new graphics suck, but I am glad they are turning towards gameplay.

 

It doesn't affect pures coz Priest in Peril is still a quest requirement for DT but it would have been fun trying/doing DT with 1 pray lol

 

Getting Priest In Peril done only gives you 1 combat level...Weigh it against Ancients.

Oh, you obviously already have weighed it against Ancients and seen that 1 combat level as worth it.

So, knowing that decision, why would you regret ANYTHING that happens in the future?

They havent cut PiP out of the requirements for DT, but even if they did, who cares, honestly? Your 1 combat level will not give you a disadvantage in the wilderness, unless you are fighting some little bastard right on the edge of wild where he's gonna just run away (and if that's the case, you aren't PK'ing)

 

DT with under 43 prayer is really not hard at all... I've done it like 10 times ._., on accounts as low as like 40 combat...

 

Any pure account with over 11 prayer was considered ruined to me, now I consider 1+ ruined.

 

My new pures still one prayer.

I do feel sorry for the pures that had to get the few extra combat levels but this actual could be a good update as now you don't have to do that stupid quest priest in the pearl to get to Mortanyia

 

Actually, you still need PiP for DT. They haven't removed it from the quest reqs.
