Android - I hate Developing for iOS

 

Personally I like iOS more. The phones end up costing the same and I think Apple did a very good job with it. Either way, can I have whichever phone you end up not using ?

 

Android hands down, not a big fan of Apple.

Android is way too limited app-wise. I have an android and there aren't many apps for it as most android processors are quite slow.

It's an iOS from me for now.

Piles PILES PPIILLEESS of android apps, theres too many to even look through em all. And Android apps have more control over the phone than Iphones will ever have.

Processors for Android devices are actually faster than Apple, the 4s is only 800 while many of the newer Android phones are 1-1.2.

Tegra 3 is 1.4-1.5

Go read a freekin website or something before you make dumb statements.

 

MIUI is beautiful. I upgraded to their new ICS rom last week. Think I'm in love :')

Definitely Android! Much more open and free for customization and modding. All Android phones use the same cable connector for charging/USB purposes. Itunes is awful to work with when you can just open your phones files like a USB drive. Also, there are too many Iphone fanboys

iOS, why? because it's alot smother than android, and the apps even though they cost money, they work alot better.

 

I'd like to see your proof behind this statement. My galaxy nexus loads web pages much faster than my girlfriends iPhone 4s. Also, i've never had any problems with the apps in the play store. I have purchased a lot of apps from the play store and have had problems with none of them.

I feel like you're comparing an iPhone 4s to let's say a thunderbolt or an evo 4g or something. If you're going to compare current phones compare it to something that's actually recent.

Why? Because its the most customizable phone OS out there you can get themes and launchers straight off the market with ease and most are free! Another reason is that thee phones are far superior in technical specifications e.g. the iPhone 4S with its 800 Mhz dual core processor and 512 MB of ram versus the 1.2 Ghz dual core processor and 1 GB of ram.

Jailbreaking to change themes? What a joke you have to void your warrantry and insurance and risk making your iPhone into an expensive paperweight or risk nothing and get a great theme anyway.

Im not just talking the talk either i have owned three android phones (Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Desire HD and the Samsung Galaxy S II which i am currently using). I have owned two iPhones the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S (only recently got rid of my iPhone 4S).

 

I prefer Android over iOS but I pretty much live with Apple in my life. Love how android is so smoother compared to iOS and the customizations was just endless! Really miss it. I used to have an android phone but after it broke and lost $400 I just didn't care for smartphones anymore. Just was too complicated lol with all those features I hardly use. I just use a regular prepaid phone while I have a laptop, tablet and iTouch for everything else for entertainment wise. When there is an android touch system similar to an iPod Touch, no phone involved I'll switch back to Android. For now I will be using iOS. I like Apple products though but they are very overpriced for the brand which is the big negative factor of them.
I do see Android dominating iOS one day.

 

To answer your question about an Android device similar to the iPod Touch look up the Samsung Galaxy S Wifi 5.0. Just like an iPod but Android.

 

iOS, just because I love the looks of it and it's really easy to use and user friendly.

I have both a 4S and Galaxy Nexus, and I personally prefer the anroid Galaxy Nexus.

 

I got my first android phone from a sythe user a few months ago. So far it has been great doing all I need. With the prices of Apple products, I don't think I could ever justify purchasing one.

 

Android because of it's operating system and iOS because Apple is pretty beasty.
