Need Music for a Dance

So... I got a job DJing at a middle school dance. It's not to bad, I do it with a couple of friends and the pay is pretty well. However, I have a completely different taste in music than prepubescent 12 year olds. So I need mainstream, poppy, dancy music that middle schoolers (mainly 8th graders) would like. I know there are other threads on this, but I can barely play Deadmau5/Swedish House Mafia, which I find pretty mainstream for what it is.

Just play Lil Wayne or more cash money stuff. It doesnt get as mainstream as that.

Btw what state are you in? What is the main race at your school? Who is popular in your area?

Try listening to the radio stations in that area, i can guarantee you'll find a good playlist of songs. If none of that works, ask around the school and see what people like.

 

Play a bunch of crappy main stream stuff such as katy perry, lady gaga, kelly clarkson all that horrible stuff

 

Try some hardstyle music, Like 'headhunters'.
