Why does newcomer always got scammed?

As the title say,

Why does newcomer always got scammed? Even though they didn't do any wrong?

Please post your opinion here.

 

They're more vulnerable, considering they joined the site recently, they might not know proper trading etiquette, and what to do/what not to do. The staff and the community do all they can to reinforce rules, ban scammers/evaders, etc. But, it's up to the newcomer to learn the rules, and proper trading etiquette.

In addition, they are often expected to go first as others have no reason to trust them.

Maybe it's because they didn't read the rules or know much about trading and such?

 

They are called ''Newcomers'' they don't know anything about this site just created an account and haven't seen the rules so people target them as soon as they posted about something or wanted to buy something and people start to PM them and add them and scam them sadly =[

 

Because they don't read the rules/stickies, makes them unaware of scammers..

 

Do you not stop and consider that english may be his second language? I doubt you'd be able to write the OP in Finnish, so shut your arrogant mouths.

On topic it's simply because they're an easy target for scammers, and they're often young and don't know any better.

 

They don't practice safe trading habits in most cases, always best to use an OMM or trusted middleman to avoid being scammed. Its always best to read up on the stickies to find out how to safely trade on the forum and what to watch out for.

 

Why don't you guys go somewhere else?
I would love to see you guys write in another language and see how good you are.

 

It's pretty amusing that people that are posting things like that are just able to speak one language most of the times. I'm Dutch myself but I think my English is pretty good, atleast, it's understandable which is the thing that matters the most.

Newcomers are not always getting scammed, but they are the main victims because other people can usually intimidate them pretty easy by having a donator rank or a couple over exaggerated vouches.

its easier to steal from someone new than from someone thats been there for a while and know whats going on. For example it would be easier taking candy from a baby than a grown man

A lot of people trying to be avoid to get scammed by Newcomer, Member, Active Member, lower vouch or not trusted, the common people always use MM or OMM to avoid get scammed. It’s really easy to target who is trying scam. If someone happened to you, fill it up in Report A Scammer section can be found on the bottom of Sythe index.

its usually the other way around for me lol , i have been charged back several times from newcommers for very small ammounts ~$10-15..i pretty much dont sell to them anymore lol

 

The newcombers I find are the one's who do the scamming. Protip though, get all of their information beforehand, especially their address, if the address is in your country, you can almost for certainly get your money back.

 

I never meet a newcomer scamming me before as most of the people buy my product is newcomers, in fact most of the people trying to scam are usually the active members.
Newcomers are usally scammed because they are too ignorant to the fact that some people are scammers, and they are usaully demanded to go first.

 

Because newcommers are vulnerable and are looked at as "In-Experienced"
People see them as easy money or scams, which is why they go for it right off the bat.
