Stay tank or go main?

I've been making ranged tanks for quiet some time now. Each time one gets banned, I go and work on another account. I've always liked the idea of a maxed tank and I never really had a good main in the past. Now the question is; should I make my current account a main? I absolutely hate questing too.

What do you think is better for me, a main or a tank? What are the pro's and cons of each?

 

If you only want to pk, stay tank.
If you want to do more activities, go main.

 

I would say stay tank lol, your account value will stay up and you might not ever forgive yourself afterwards

 

what kind of tank you making there pretty easy to make

i've made a few in my time but all had

99 range 94 mage, vengance and 44 prayer and 80-90 defence

alot more fun to pk on especially with the rigour thing from dung, i never tried it not played runescape for a long time but mains have to quest the shit out of them to be even decent at pking.

my all time fav one i made was 40 def with vengance and 94 range n mage he owned

 

If you don't like quests, your main wont be that powerful. This is because if someone has an elysian spirit shield and Storm of Armadyl, you don't really stand much chance. However, mains have a lot more variety, and you've already made alot of ranged tanks. I reckon you should do a main

 

If I were you I'd stay a tank. It's alot easier, plus it's really fun to PK/boss on. (Armadyl, etc.)

 

i would just say stick to the range tank and finally max one out, ethier way if you go main or range tank, if you keep getting your accounts banned it wont matter what your making, it will all equal wasted time.

 

Tanks are better for pking but at the same time thats pretty much all they can do

Mains: you could PvM, you could PK, do minigames, do quest.

Tanks are fun and do not require much questing to be good, unless u want Storm Of Armadyl. Mains get boring really fast but bossing with friends are really fun

 

Go main as the world of runescape opens up.
Although you hate questing it can be overcome and there are many substitues for quest items.
Go main thats my suggestion.

 

I'm planning to truly max my tank before making it a main.


My current account is 1200 hours of safe botting to become a maxed hybrid tank. Most of the questing is done and I can key 5 larges in 2 hours so I can pretty much get chaotics in 8-12 hours of dungeoneering. I will soon have enough zeals for 99 strength which will be cashed in if I ever become a main. Hope I wont make a bad main when I decide to become one.

 

Might as well go Main.
Thats where people risk the High RSGP's,
and Dh Fighting is always a good way to make fast cash.

 

stay tank the account will be more unique and valuable. plus questing sucks!

 

Keep tank, mains are good for bossing and doing alot of non pvp activities, also you will have to do a lot of quests which will suck and skills.
