So why do people sell floors in Dungeoneering?

Like I've never understood what that was for, ever!

 

because people dont like to dung.

Its so the person buying can go afk and not have to train it themselves, having the people they paid do dung while buyer sits at home room then just ends/comes when needed

 

No, the person who you buy them from does the floor themselves while you sit at home and leech as it's called.

They will (hopefully) have another keyer or several leechers OR suiciders with them as well. They're always a "Suicide Keyer" meaning they don't care if they die, generally. Also, they're mostly high level Dungeoneerers and know what they're doing.

Good floors are definitely under 30 minutes, pro are under 20.

 

Nope, when you buy a floor, you normally just sit there and let people do the dungeon for you. If you don't like to participate, but you want a reward, that's how you get it. Only time you would do something is an emote/puzzle room. Plus, when people sell a floor, usually they have a good team that communicates well, so they will get your floor done fast.

You do get tokens. You get 10% of your experience in tokens. Unless the dungeon isn't completed and you are either kicked or you leave the party.

You get the same amount of tokens if you sat home and got no deaths, and if you participated and became MVP with no deaths.

 

No, you still get tokens. You get tokens based on the experience at the end of the dungeon, so as long as you complete it, which you will, you still get all of the tokens. You are just trading your money for them getting the EXP for you.

 

Okay now I'm interested... how risky is this? How much would I end up spending on getting 80 dung for a rapier?

 

There are alot of trusted selling friend chats, then a lot of scammers... I would look around doing a bit of research for a well known and trusted clan before thinking about buying. I know a few chats if you would like to know them pm me.

 

Not risky at all, assuming you're safe about who you use to leech off of. A good FC to use would be "Keyers-FC". (Probably the best, hold the record for the fastest large at 8:12. Advertise all floors for being under 15 minutes.) As far as i've heard, they charge 2m for Abandoned Floors(starting at level 59, floor 30), and 3m for Occult/Warped. How much it would cost would depend on what your Dungeoneering is now. Assuming you start at level 60 Dungeoneering, and leech all the way to 80, a general estimate of the cost would come out from anywhere around 60-75m i would guess, maybe a bit in either direction.

 

Leeching is a fast way to get exp and gaining tokens. The only problem is it's not really worth the money inless you are atleast 70+ dung pref. 80. For example, leeching at level 90 dung I get about 90k exp a floor from my high floors. However if you were extremely low level then the 2m per floor prob would not be even worth it. and even at high exp a floor you're looking at like 70m a chaotic at like 90 dung. So inless you have a decent bank leeching is not for you. I suggest you just pay someone to get you to 80 and save more money inless you are already like level 70.

The reason people sell dung is for a few reasons:

Take the average user that finds a random dung team for a floor and is doing a c6 large with 5 players. I'm going to say on average it takes them 45 mins to an hour and 10 mins to finish a large c6 dung with ALL 5 PLAYERS doing there best to finish the dung fast.

Now take sell dung. They sell dung floors for 3-4m each. They can have 2 people actually doing the floor....with 3 leeches and still finish a large dungeon in 15-20 mins...

That is why people sell dung floors. +Dung is something that nobody really enjoys getting up themselvs because everyone just wants there chaotic fast and if they can afford it they will jusy pay to get xp.

 

Not true. Not true at all. I and my whole clan dung for the entertainment, not for the chaotics. Dung is the only skill in rs which requires actual skill. The people who dont have the patience to cultivate this skill stop at 80 or 85 dung and/or buy floors and others continue. No offence intended.

 

Because people are too lazy to do it by hand.
So they pay someone to do it.

 

Dunging for entertainment is like driving shards of wood under your fingernails for entertainment.

It is probably the least enjoyable and worst skill in the game. It shouldn't even be a skill it should just be a minigame.


OT: I wouldn't buy dung floors because for about the same price or cheaper you can come here and have someone do it for you from 1 -80 usually.

 

Assuming at that low of a level he got around 50k xp avg between abd and occ he'd actually need 35 floors (just occs/abds avg 50k xp/floor) and that would cost 98M since abd is 2m and occ is 3m so roughly 2.8m/floor
