Why is rune dream a .scr?

What should i change it to/ do with it?

Wth is a .scr file ? I though it was .jar

 

when i change it to a jar file it says it's corrupt..

You are most likely now infected. .scr is a screensaver file and has the same permission as an .exe. You can't of downloaded it from runedream.org

 

My advice would be to nuke your computer, bro.

If you absolutely need to, back up specific files that you require, but then nuke your entire PC and reinstall.

 

I went to www.rundream.com then clicked download bot. But it would not work.
So i right clicked save as and tthen it came up as a .scr.....
Running Malware bytes anti malware now.

yup, the domain i visited is now down, plus i scanned and found a server.exe file..
removed and now should be safe.

 

I doubt you are safe, scan your pc again / reformat.

 

After school i will scan again. with 2 different programs.

 

Yep, you are basically infected. Go on a different, safe computer and change all your passwords that you have stored on that computer or have used.
