Debating wether to quit or not

Well, if you aren't sure if you want to continue or quit, maybe try stopping for a while but keep your account incase you change your mind. After a few months, if you don't miss it too much, that would be the time to consider selling your stuff.

I would take a pre-determined break. After that break (even of a couple months) is over, seriously consider whether you still want to play!

If you compare games like WoW, LoL and other games to runescape, they are always a breath of fresh air.
I'd suggest trying them, I know WoW offers a 7 day free trial, and LoL Is completely free!
I always get sick of runescape, Due to its bad community & Childish players.
But WoW do have a few complete nerd players who are always making themselfs look like a complere twonk, but who cares! Theres still a good player base out there! And its a very good game with the whole graphics and gameplay, and it never lags!
League of legends is a good game to just sit and play the odd game, It requires alot of teamwork, and the games can be either quite quick, or very lengthy!
Maybe fetch some of your friends to either of these games as they are great to play in groups!

 

Breaks are good, I usually switch between games as well.

RS -> 2 Months
WoW -> 2 Months
1 Month Break from all internet games.
