Help with getting a more smooth face?

I had acne all through my teens, still have a bit, nothing bad. But i found the cause was... dirty pillowcases... my whole life.

I'm 20 and I've honestly NEVER had acne, and I've never gone through that phase where teens get a heap load of pimples. But I've had the occasional 1 or 2 pimples on the face/forehead.

Not sure if this will work against acne but I remember hearing it from a family doctor that if you apply tooth paste on it, it helps cleanse the area and also smoothens the pimple area. WHITE tooth paste, not GEL tooth paste. Apply before going to sleep, and remember to wash it off when you wake up

Should give it a try, I've been doing it since I was 17 and it really helps

 

No. Do not do this. Please do research on something if you're not sure on it, rather than giving advice that would most likely worsen his face. It could possibly prevent him from getting a smooth face for a long time. Toothpaste is made for teeth, not pimple or acne.

It's not worth the risk, as there are other alternatives to getting rid of acne. Toothpaste is not the way to go, and it could be harmful.

People have already given you good advice, about the pillow case, I suggest you do that and tell us the outcome

 

Buy some bp for spot treatment. I use a daily facial scrub that is St. Ives. Also, if your acne is bad enough, ask your doctor for doxy. Eating healthy foods is also a great way to stay smooth because fats and caffeine can help cause acne.

 

Since summer is getting near, this is a golden tip, works the best for me.
Just go sunbathing alot, it seems to dry them buggers out.. Really works!
