Bakriminel Bolts

I'm a maxed pure and personally I think this is good and bad.

Pros:
Hopefully range raggers will target poly pore nerds
No body Tribrids

Cons:
Bolts have 125 ranged bonus (Dragon bolts (e) are 117)
Stacked with Chaotic Crossbow I think range hitting 600s will be quite common
Will probably be expensive - 5k per bolt ~

They could be a damage dealer before a spec e.g. magic short bow > chaotic crossbow and the Bakriminel bolts > spec weapon e.g. gmaul, dragon claws, dds.

 

The bolts hit pretty hard and quite often, the bonus against mage is a nice little bonus too and gives you quite the upper hand..

 

I've heard the spec on these barely activates though?

Also, if anyone knows, what is the cost of the arrowheads from the shop you get them at?

If the arrowheads are expensive, you can count on the bolts staying expensive (or just becoming an unused item).

If they are cheap, the price will fall fast and you will see them everywhere.

 

I like the idea of aiming at body parts but sucks that it doesnt work against melee armor

I think this is a great update. I'm sick of the virtus/polypore/storm of armadyl idiots PJing my dharok fights and hopefully some hero rangers will take care of them.

Melee has dragon claws and AGS
Magic has Storm of Armadyl
Range has Bakriminel Bolts

Ruby bolts I believe are still better than these Bakriminels because of their spec. The amount of bolts you can make also affects their usefulness. If you try to make them yourself, then unless you're lucky you won't make more than 100/day assuming you have all the reqs to get every tree. Every 6 hours you will get 1-5 logs from normal ones, and the one that is very top wild can give 15?
I'm probably wrong, this is my estimation.

 

i like the sound of it as people will be greatly encouraged to tribrid now as it will create such an advantage

i agree with sound it really does even the playing field alot also they wont hit that high as the only reason d bolts hit super high was because of their special ability and not their range bonus

 

Not even that good tbh, the best special is head and no-one uses mage helms =/
