So heres my fucking shit life story.
Im about to quit, and I accidently lose my chaotic maul in PVP. I say, who gives a fuck, I'm never gonna play this game anyways anymore.
Three months later, I'm playing again.
Right now, I'm really starting to get into it. But guess what happens.
Im killing greater demons on a french world in the revs dungeon.
Suddenly two assfucks come up and start attacking me. Im in full elite void with my rapier and 5m (my bank) worth of cannonballs.
They ags spec me and I'm an idiot and instead of tping away, I try to run.
it turns out my run isnt even on.
I only brought monkfish for the trip, so they two spec me with 2 500s.
I lost my bank, my rapier, maul, and full elite void.
I dont know what to do. I think I'm going to sell the account, but after that, I'm not sure.
Maybe start up a tank ranger, but that will take forever to build up.
I also thought about making a zerker, but that will also take forever.
You guys should give me some advice

 

Just quit, or rebuild. Getting a 3rd chaotic doesnt take nearly as much time as the first.

 

If you have ways to get out, just do it man.

Other than that, if you are really intent on playing, stop putting your stuff in so much danger.

I don't understand why you were skulled wearing all that stuff, and why you hadn't protected the Rapier atleast. Little stuff like that is easy to avoid.

 

Why would you take your bank into a PvP area?

Rapier/dhide would have been good enough.

 

I was a fucking idiot and thought that no one would be there in a foreign world.
I didnt even know I was skulled till I died, and I was stupid about the protect item thing.

I've just decided to stop playing runescape.
My money that I worked so hard for over the summer is slowly dwindeling away, because of runescape.
I will be selling the account, and using that money for real life things.

I think you need to detach from runescape. If you are this emotionally attached about losing your stuff on PVP, it could be a problem.

 

I agree, but I wouldn't sell your account. Take a break from Runescape, calm down a bit, then start playing casually again later if you wish. Or, stop completely. Either way keep the account to have the option available to return. I have a feeling you'll always be somewhat attached to your account.

You definitely need to quit man. Trust me, RS isn't worth getting so pissed off over. Unless you become a big time gold merchant or something, that game isn't going to leave you with squat. You have no idea how much I regret stressing over it so much. Sell your shit, and quit; it's the best choice you could possibly make. Spend your time doing something creative or productive. Read some books, go outside, pick up a guitar.

I agree with alot of the posters above. Quit while you still can. Being cleaned definitely sucks, but it gives you a good reason to just say bye to runescape. Although, if you don't want to quit, you can just buy a few mil on sythe and try staking... which can also get you cleaned pretty fast :/

 

Just quit, there's a ton of better games out there now than RS.

 

I am sorry to hear about that, that's a shame! You should keep your account and rebuild, you probably should making the money to rebuild easier than difficult facilities on the account.

Ive quit so many times over the past 6 years, and the amount of money I have given away or lost is just stupid.

Now I've just started playing again after 6 months, quit because I staked 200m thinking I could win it back easily using sara brews with pots turned on, but no apparently saradomin brews count as food, got jagexed.

Shortly I will have 3 exams and 3 courseworks to do, then 2 weeks after I finish my exams I will be working for IBM as part of my industrial year, which I hope by then I will stop playing, but who knows.

To be honest though, money has brought me nothing, I either have too much and I dont really want anything except a fury, b ring, whip, torag, but then If I wana try for a Green Phat I'm 1.5b short, money is nothing in this game, I get more enjoyment out of working my way up again with nothing in the bank or little compared to what I had.
