why must dung cost so much

Sadly a lot of Runescape is filled with idiots.

 

Because dung is boring and long but requires actual skill.

But yeah it's unbottable but I do think there's a simba bot in production but it takes TIME focus to get good exp.

 

You could just spend that on overloads or turmoil. Anyway, the rapier isn't massively better than a whip. At bandos the rapier is LESS accurate than a whip.

The strength bonus of the rapier over the whip is no big deal, i'd grab turmoil or overloads with that cash.

 

i would say it cost alot becuase the stress of creating a team with a leech and you have 50+ other people alot trying to create a team, and you have another stress of having to key fast also to finish the levels in time.

but yeah instead you can work irl make $100 a day and pay someone $20 to train dung all day

 

XP for levels 30-50 is like 6-10k per hr. However at 85+ level you can do 60-100k xp per hour easy.

Dungeoneering is un-bottable, un-afkable, time-consuming, boring.

 

Its boring, unbotable, and ever high level player needs chaotics.

 

Because alot of people dont know what they are doing, its tedious, slow (if your not experianced and everyone likes a chaotic

 

Dungeonerring is a hard skill to train , if you want the job done fast then it costs alot , or you can do it urself :S.

 

Dung cost much cuz it involves a lot of patience

 

You use CLS instead of rapier with PvM....

Rapier is used for pking, better than the whip in every in my mind. Not everyone has turm and it's a lot quicker/cheaper to get a rapier than train to 95 prayer and quest etc.

 

It's actually fun if you have a good group of people

 

Because its so tedious!

 

I love dung it's my favorite skill, I am cb 136 (botting waterfiends for 99 summ atm) with 105 dung and 2340 total lvl.
Fastest floor I did is 25 mins, large warp ofc.
Some people do it in 15 mins...

I'm not sure if doubling the solo experience you get from dungeoneering would solve this but in all honesty it's something Jagex should do. I only dg with my friends nowadays because teaming with random idiots who don't know what they're doing or they constantly demand something pisses me off.

This is pretty much exactly what I was going to post. It always surprises me how cheap people are willing to work for when skilling.

 

You need to be organized and have a good team to get decent experience.

Even if you have decent teams (which you won't find very decent ones until 100+-105+ Dung), your XP rate per hour won't be something to brag about until your level starts to get up there.

For those reasons, it costs a lot to have someone train your Dung for you.

A very good person in a high level team will key a Warped floor in under 20 minutes. I key a Warped in between about 20 and 22 minutes, and I definitely wouldn't consider myself great, it just depends on who I have in my team.

Tl;Dr The higher Dung you are, the faster your XP is and the easier it is for you to get a team. So if someone is training your Dung, they aren't getting that fast XP and they are in crap teams (unless you are already a high level).
