We should have weekly/biweekly/monthly/etc. competitions (hosted by staff) for all the members here on Sythe.org to enjoy and benefit from. Along with that we should have a separate donation section to put towards the prizes of these competitions.

    EXAMPLES:
    1) XBOX Tournaments for any Competitive game with various rewards...
    -Most Kills
    -Longest Survived
    -Most Headshots

    2) Rap Battles - Winner picked by voters

    3) RuneScape competitions
    -Various Mini-Games Competitions

    Etc, Etc.

If anyone can post here with more ideas for competitions that would be appreciated.

We do have competitions running all the time, but most of them usually take a few weeks to complete, so there isn't much down time in-between competitions. If you have any ideas for some in mind feel free to make one. There are no rules against hosting competitions other than to make it "official" you must ask an admin to approve it. Otherwise your free to host any kind of competition you'd like.

Well, you can't really force the staff to do competitions, they do enough as it is. I mean, some members are doing a lot of community relating things. Just check out their competitions, and I'll also have one coming up when/if it's approved by Govind.

    TO BOTH:
I wasn't trying to force them. :p I was suggesting that there be one, and only one (however often) competition held by staff so people that don't play XBOX or RS or these other games still have a chance of getting prizes. I was hoping for something that EVERYONE- EVERY SINGLE PERSON on the forums could have a chance to be involved in. Those were just examples, but I was hoping for something once a month most likely that COULD involve everyone. Whether they choose to be involved or not is there choice. But for those who don't play games, yet are still involved in the community, I think they should stiill have a chance to join competitions.

Requesting the staff to host a competition IS forcing them. Like I said, it's not a big deal, and they deal with enough already. Many community members offer things that ALL the users can join in on, and my competition welcomes all members, as well. If you don't like the current competitions, feel free to make one yourself, there is no restrictions except for it following Sythe.org rules.
