need help with my pure!

ok so i currently have a leaf-bladed sword pure (50 attack 55 slay) and i dont know wether i want to keep it 50 attack or get it 60 attack and pk with brackish blade + d claws. the main thing im worried about is that im only 31 pray and i would prolly need to get 43/52 pray if i go 60 attack

the other main thing is that i botted soulwar on it so its 99 str but super low hp (65 hp @ cb 68) and if i got 60 attack it would be even worse.

what are your ideas about it? thanks for your inputs!

 

I'd stay 50 attack, I personally find gmaul pking funner. As for your hp get your range/mage up by bursting/chinning. Doing that I got from about 40 hp to 55+ in 1k bursts alone

 

Get 60 attack and use Dragon Claws and get higher Hp and pray to 52.

 

stay 50 attack, gmaulers have allways been my fav kind of pure (i dont really like pures nor do i have any) but if i were to make one it would defo be a gmauler with b blade

So, dont get 60. The only reason you should get 43 prayer, is to get firecape. (would be worth it imo)

 

I agree with the 50 attack people, it's extremely fun. 60 attack gets old and boring with just the regular d claw.

Just work on getting the range/mage up without SW to raise your hp, and also stay 31 prayer.

 

I would use magic-gmaul combo instead. So no need for 60 attack, just stay at 50

 

Stay 50 attack, once you get 60 attack, there ain't no turning back. Gmaulers have the ups and downs.

Pros: high hits and quick kills. Also so much more fun then dds/d claws.

Cons: if you spec and can't kill them, you got a very slim chance of killing your opponent.

Overall, stay 50 attack while you can. Just enjoy it brah.

 

This - this option has worked for me in the past, and I had a serious blast doing it.

get 60 and go claw rushing

 

id get DT but the bots i used to use are down and cbf legiting those skills :X

 

Thats a great pure you can make,
Get 60 attack for d-claws or maybe go 80 for some chaotics
Get hp to like 80-90
And best of all you can get 99 range and Mage without any combat levels
Also I'd advise 74 prayer.

 

would never have a pure without 45 prayer tbh...saying that I'd get 74/77 for dung prayers.

but then I'm in a good pure clan and mystic might/rigour/augury are very usefull

 

tbh augury and rigour on a 1 def pure is kind of pointless..

 

No it isn't rigour will make your range hit alot higher and alot more accurate. ...

 

Stay Gmauler for a little while, as a lot of people have said they're my personal favourite, i'm also making one at the moment.

normal 15% pray + amulet of zealot = same as rigour without def bonus. lol

I would get 60 attack because at 50 attack you can't use as much good pking weapons as 60 attack.

I would go back to Soul Was and get zeals to get to 99 hp.
