What is this Lucky Gear From Squeal of Fortune?

Whats the difference between the real thing and lucky gear

 

I haven't received any of the lucky items, but I think they are untradeable. You can get a nice expensive item to wear and use, but you can't sell it.

 

The difference between lucky gear and the normal version is the slight change in appearance, it cannot be traded/alched/ect.. and if you die and choose not to keep it on death, it will dissapear. Aside from that, they're identical.

 

So doesnt that mean it will have gp value if the account is sold?

 

Seeing the fact it is untradeable and you will lose if you die, I don't really see it of any value onto an account.
But on the other hand they are 'rare' so maybe people will consider the account to have more value with a 'lucky' item(s) on it.

Depends on the item. In most cases it will add value, like a Divine would definitely add value. But something like a Sara Sword that most people wouldn't even use probably would not add anything

 

So can you go pking with them?

Can you take them into the wild or a dangerous clan wars fight/portal?
I'd assume it works like a lent item, but it might be different.

 

You can go pking with them, it works like a firecape, torso, etc. and drops coins on death i believe.

So if i had a lucky divine it would drop about 500m?

Nope. It would act as an untradable. Nothing would appear.

 

The squeal of fortune gear has a darker tint, and it will not appear on your grave if you die.

Apart from that, it's the same thing as the non squeal item.
