do you consider this a rap??

I always liked listening to rap and thought the idea of writing raps was cool. Here's something i came up with, will you pass this ?? I wrote it as a response to a friend's status which is below my piece.

so adrien it looks like you are facing oppression, from all the masses.
and here's some advice from me, keep ignoring them pests,
cause soon as it starts to bother you you fall into a depression.
you're cool as you are, keep the haters afar,
as you do what you were meant to do.
To dare to be different, dare to go against 'em mother fucking people and take the road less traveled by,
go fly.
one more thing i wanna add in, is that as humans we all sin.
every single one of us makes mistakes, be it me, you, or them people who be judging you 24/7.
but remember the time where you made a grave error, you thought it would end up in dead terror?
but that person chose to forgive, and forget.
so all i'm asking you is to do the same, and always remember, your god given name, adrien.

Say what you want bitch, at least I stay original. It ain't no magic trick, I'm just a fucking miracle. You bitches second best cos you're afraid to think different. Don't know who you really are, all I know is I'm Adrien. Don't wanna live in this communist and judge-mental society. Everybody confined to think the same, what happened to originality? Weezy's my idol, Weezy be my mentor, YMCMB get me the fuck out of Singapore.

 

It's actually pretty good lyrics, just make sure you get good bit/backing for that and more importantly,work on your flow if you really get into that, flow is more important than rest because if you dont have flow = people will not listen to you at all, that's true, most people dont listen to lyrics or bit at first listening,just checking your flow.

 

I don't consider it a rap, as it's just lyrics.... It is impossible to guess what someones flow would be like from reading lyrics, you should record yourself rapping them--I'd be sure to listen and give feedback. Anyone can type out rhymes if they are given some time, but flowing is different--not everyone can do it...

You would need 2 put your words into song then we could determine if it was rap or not

 

I mean it's words, rap is not only lyrics.
