Hey guys, i recently replaced my Motherboard, CPU and PSU with the following: mobo - Asus M2N SLI Deluxe psu - generic 600W supply cpu - AMD Athlon 5600 Since i've done this it, i turn my computer on and my screen gets 'no signal' how do i fix this? (My screen is plugged into the first DVI point on my Graphics card, i can't plug it into the actual mobo because it only has an optics out and some other out i've never seen before (its green in colour) Any ideas?
First just make sure everything is seated properly. Normally something just isn't in right, also try changing the combination of your ram.
I just bought 2 new (second hand) 9600gt's off ebay. I'm still getting the no signal through the monitor. Any got any ideas? I should also state that all these parts were bought second hand (but i know they all are in good working condition).
How do you know they're all in working condition? I mean, unless they've worked for you, you have no way to know.
Because of the chance of 3 graphics cards not working are a very low percentage, that low in fact i'm ruling it out. It's something to do with the bios, i need to change the output in the bios but i can't get to it because i can't see it -.-
I think i'm just gonna put it into a computer shop this week sometime. I don't have enough time / resources to fuck about with it
You need to use the d-sub/vga slot or a receiver for the optical S/PDIF out. Your board is highly susceptible to simply not working through DVI.
