So I have found some very nice site in my time, here are few:

Visual Freaks
Go MediaZine
Abduzeedo
the Tuts+ sites.

 

Greyscalegorilla has some cool stuff, but you have to know what you are looking for

 

Oh yeah, forgot about GreyscaleGorilla. I like their lighting kit, it is pretty neat.

 

Brusheezy is a good one for brushes

 

Mabye you should add the sites to the OP so that people don't have to search through it all to find sites. Sorting it by type would be nice if you feel you can put in the effort as well

 

I'll organize it when we get some more site or I can think of some more that I use often.

 

escape motion's flame painte is quite cool. It has some really cool effects

Escapemotion's flamepainter is a very nice piece of online software to create your own flame-style background on if you're having trouble on Photoshop creating your own. Give it a go, it's good fun!

^ is great for making custom flares. I'll be using that alot now

 

Transparency will be a huge issue with that website tho..

 

I suppose...but you can set the background colour to whatever you desire.

 

I have found it very nice for background for images. They also have lots of other cool software experiement thing.

 

http://www.userbars.com/ is great for somebody who wants a nice userbar but can't work with graphics
