Fire Runes <--- Why The "HUGE" PRICE DROP?

i remember less than a month ago i was selling fire runes for 50-52 each now they are 22 each lucky to sell at GE for 20-21 each what is going on or is the gold farming killing the price?

 

Maybe people dumped them to buy supplies for BXP?

 

Not Sure but I bought a few million water runes in case they go up like fire runes did

 

Can't be alchers/superheaters for double XP, they would use a staff of fire. I'm not sure if goldfarmers would bother with fire runes. Maybe people mass merched them for easy profit and then that many people did it that they dropped?

 

Definitely merched.

A lot of people takes advantages of updates. As soon as people found out that the "new" staff required 15,000 fire runes, or however much it is, they thought of it as a way to "make bank".

This! I had a few hundred thousand fire runes saved up from Slayer & other combat activities, and I sold them all before the weekend for some extra cash.

Depends. Potions will probably drop because alot of people are doing herblore. As for price rises, I'm not too sure. Things tend to change a bit.

If something has already dropped alot, they will go back up eventually. Maybe you should buy into some?

Fire runes are used to fix polypore stuff. (as the staffs)
Look at the prices of fire runes and polypore staffs.

You'll see they fluxuate together, as polypore staffs dropped, so did the fire runes.

 

alright i bought 25k of each fire and water runes hoping for the best as i am not a rich RS player even though i have like 100M+ in rare name accounts

 

in the past month there has been 1000s of bots coming back everything will be dropping soon

I think the real huge price drop happened about 6 years ago, I let my friend borrow my account to merch and he bought 4m fires. I was pissed because I taught him a successful d-chain merch. When I got back from over seas I was stuck with 4m fires that he was unable to sell because they crashed.

 

No. Bots are fine when they're underground. When there aren't a lot of users using it.

You're basically saying if 100,000 players botted, but not too much, it's still fine.

You do have to keep in mind that most botters tend to bot at least 10 hours a day. That play a huge role in the runescape member's economy, which consists of a mere 150,000-200,000 active members, including botters.

I'll agree, more botters do come back. And it will, if it isn't yet, play a huge role in the further drop of fire runes.

Fire runes are already one of the most traded items in Runescape.

 

i mean bots are ok but should be limited to lvl up not buy and sell stuff which kills the game been playing for 11 years
