    Question for the Atheists

Why does the existence of something prove that it was created by someone or something? Elaborate, please.

    Question for the Atheists

Wut. I fail to see how taking life at face value is "stupid". I'd rather "ignore the possibility of something greater" than constantly search for divine inspiration. In my humble opinion, it is thoroughly asinine to assume the presence of "god" out of ignorance about the creation of life. I don't think we are limited by our "simple 5 senses". Humans have an enormous capacity for learning and analysis. Just look at what we've built/formed in the past few centuries.

Religion was born out of ignorance/lack of understanding about basic biological functions. Religion was an answer, one predicated on untruths. Religion only continues to exist out of sentimentality.

    Question for the Atheists

It came out wrong. But if something doesnt have a root or a parent in some form does that make it eternal? We have yet to know of something that justs exists with no explanation or source besides the initial energy of the Big Bang itself. Everything we know comes from somewhere, maybe there are some things we dont understand and cant comprehend yet, but for now that is my thinking and my opinion. I could always be wrong. I didnt mean to sound so adamant.

And yet we still know extremely little out of our little bubble we call Earth. I still don't mean 'divine inspiration' or 'god'. I simply mean something beyond what we can know - perhaps a higher power, but it doesn't have to necessarily be an omnipotent, omniscient source or anything.

    Question for the Atheists

I am an atheist, and I believe in what you can touch and see is real. Who knows, there might be a "greater being" and all, but my time spent living will just be to live life to the fullest.

Tried to make it as short, and sweet as possible. Reading a whole lot makes people lose focus on what is being said.

    Question for the Atheists

I dont believe in God. I dont believe in a heaven or a hell. But I do believe something will happen, there just cant be nothing. You can never be completely gone.

I also dont believe in ghosts/lost souls flying around or whatever. I think what will happen is so much more then we think. It will be so much bigger then we are able to imagine. Therefor, Im not afraid of death. Im not saying I want to be dead, I love live and I want to grow old, but I dont think death is something to be afraid of.

    Question for the Atheists

How can you be open and closed minded at the same time lol. What makes you think there isnt a God or heaven and hell or ghosts or flying souls? You already stated there cant just be nothing when you die. What if there is a God? What is Heaven and Hell do exist? Then what?

Im not trying to get you to change your thinking, i just want to know what made you rule out the possibilities of there being a God or other supernatural things existing.

    Question for the Atheists

I don't agree with either of you. I believe that after death, nothing happens other than the decomposition of our bodies and the grievances of those who cared about us. I think it's insulting and disgraceful for family members to have "religious funerals" without their consent prior to dying.

The idea of a hell/heaven/souls/god is completely irrational and illogical to me.

    Have a read of that.

    Question for the Atheists

I believe in there having to be something happening after you die instead of just being a rotted carcass on the floor BUT I just cannot believe anything that religious people have to preach. My best advice to all of you is to just ignore most questions that people with different religious views have to ask because they don't care about you, they only care about trying to change your ideal view on life. People may say that they're not trying to but they really are because they personally believe that they are right and that they are doing a 'good' deed by preaching to the wrong church. If you've ever noticed the churches have suddenly become modernized and they try to change their rules saying "Oh well God will always forgive you no matter what you do BLAH BLAH BLAH." No, it never worked that way that would mean that there wouldn't be a hell. My main point here is that religion is just a way for a man to get POWERFUL and they get more powerful by modernizing it year by year so people of my age group will be interested in converting to that religion via Christianity.

    Question for the Atheists

    Why?

Is this view based off of something, or is it just pure speculation?

    Question for the Atheists

Atheism doesn't include a broad idea of the after-life. So a atheist can beleive that after you die you ebcome a ghost or you become a magic flying shoe that can only say vowels. So that permisse for the question is wrong by itself.

Anyway, I don't beleive in any after-life and that jsut makes me apreciate life on tiself, without being scared of hell ofr without a magic place where I'll go if I follow these stupid rules like don't eat shrimp and shellfish. Good and bad has always existed, before religions were assembled.

    Question for the Atheists

I believe in science (atheist) energy can't just disappear so it has to go somewhere, I just don't know where. So for now I don't know what happens after death. Nobody does.
But for now I refuse to believe of a magical man in the sky that has no proof of existence.

    Question for the Atheists

How do you know every religious person is as you described? I doubt youve met a person from every religion and had them explain to you their beliefs and views on life. How do you know if religious people are right or wrong?

How do you know in your 11 years experience in the program everything you learned wasnt flawed? You are learning solely based off of the teacher and/or others opinions, because no one knows what happens when you die. So why make up your mind on the answer if you havnt seen the question? Why try to get others to think like you when you may be wrong yourself?

Maybe you should try to rephrase your sentences so it sounds more opinionated because you are not 100 percent sure of your statement yet youre stating it as a fact.

i never made an argument so how do you decide to not agree with me . also what do you believe happens to your mind when you die? Does it die along with your brain and body? Is it just an extension of your body?

    Question for the Atheists

I agree that although the big bang may have caused the universe to expand, were infact did the matter needed to cause the big bang come from? there may be a logical reason and it may trace back trillions of years but the fact is at some point there was nothing.

    Question for the Atheists

Why does there have to be nothing? It is entirely possible that the universe has always existed and will continue to exist forever. Or, depending on the way you want to define universe you could say that they matter that inhabits our universe has always existed and will continue to exist forever. Either way it is entirely possible that it has always existed and will continue to always exist.

    Question for the Atheists

Energy is not currently being created. The universe could not have created itself using natural processes because nature did not exist before the universe came into existence. Something beyond nature must have created all the energy and matter that is observed today. Present measures of energy are immeasurably enormous, indicating a power source so great that "infinite" is the best word we have to describe it.

The logical conclusion is that our supernatural Creator with infinite power created the universe. There is no energy source capable to originate what we observe today.

    Question for the Atheists

I believe FSM created existence, as I am a Pastafarian. After we die, his noodly appendage reaches down and raises our soul to the big pasta bowl in the sky. And since there is no evidence against this, it is 100% accurate. Do not try to refute my argument with reasoning, we as humans do not need reasoning, we only need to believe what we are told.

Yes, so you are agreeing with me that only the Flying Spaghetti Monster could have possibly created the universe?
