Do you think this is a scam? Or should i take this offer?

So i met a guy from Egypt playing a game. I met him because i use ebay and sell virtual items on ebay. He told me that ebay and paypal are blocked in Egypt. So he asked me if i would sell 10,000 facebook likes for $150 each, then with the money i would get, i would then buy cheap phone accessories, phone charges, etc and send them to Egypt for his business. What would you guys this about this? He said i would get a cut of the $5 charge on each item. And in one month he sold like 56 items.

 

I don't get it ..

10k facebook likes.. YOU'RE selling them..? for 150$ each.. or total? Then with the 150$ you buy him phone shit and he pays you a small amount?

1. Do you risk your 150$?
2. How much will you get in the longrun?
3. Why can't he just buy them himself online and not through ebay?
4. How can he use Ebay and sell '56 items a month' if Egypt doesn't use ebay?

 

Lol thats what i also don't get about point 4.

I won't have to risk $150, hes already given me $5.
He wants to use ebay to get the items at the cheapest prices possible.

 

I wouldnt trust it, you dont know enough about the situation to go in business with this person IMO. youre risking youre money and possibly freedom without knowing everything about the situation. If you really want to go through with it though i would get more info about him and his business just to be on the safe side. He could be giving you just a portion of the whole situation.

what do you sell if you dont mind me asking?

 

oh, i have been on ebay for a long time and just sold random things . I sell pretty much just items im done with and not using anymore. For instance say a paintball gun a got for cheap locally to make a quick buck, like that kinda stuff. If i am done with say a good mountain bike i would sell it on ebay to fetch decent money for it or say a good pair of speakers.

So he's paying you $150 if you give him 10,000 facebook likes. If i where you i would go that far.

If he sold 50+ items last month wouldn't he already have a supplier and not need you?

Seems sketchy likely scenario- he gets his 10,000 likes and $150 worth of items. You wasted your time.
