MSN/ Skype

I was on another Runescape Forum, Simba's to be exact and the new guy was PMing me asking me if I could help with through Skype or MSN, I told him I don't MSN or Skype people I don't know for safety reasons and then he was like I figured it out thanks tho anyway....just seems a little strange to me, but would there be anyway from him to possibly of hacked me if I did skype or msn him? I wouldn't of downloaded anything from him. I have a hard time trusting randoms on the internet.

 

Unless they actually had access to your email/Skype then I doubt they could do anything massive. I keep my contact info private so I don't have spam piling them all up.

 

I wouldn't add anybody random nowadays. It would depends on what site they are associated with though as not every site has those small amount of hackers who lurk for victims.
I would say that sites such as Sythe would be the sites to stay clear away from randoms. That could be suspicious as I usually am able to help people just through the PM system and he would have told you what he needed help with. Who knows for sure really lol what the other person is thinking.
