Gravedigging In Graphics Gallery

I think that this rule shouldnt apply to the graphics gallery

Why?
* GFX doesnt just stop being good because it hasnt been posted on for a few weeks

* This rule has been implemented in the guides section, for pretty much the same reason, if it works it works no matter how old and you want the community to see it (http://www.sythe.org/showpost.php?p=10621105&postcount=1)

Just like you already said, people should still be able to view graphics no matter how long ago it was made. I'm surprised nobody had thought of this before Lol. Definitely have my support thought I don't need to say it as the mods/admins are obviously going to approve..

 

I'll support this as long as it doesn't get out of hand. If I start seeing a single person going and bumping 10 different threads that are a year old within 10 minutes, I may issue an infraction or two at this point.

I think that it would suck if people started using it as an excuse to post on 3 year old threads, just to raise postcount.

I think that in order for this to work, any incredibly old and inactive threads could be locked?

 

I support this aslong as it doesn't turn into spam.

 

The Graphics Gallery's sole purpose is to showcase your work and receive CnC/feedback on it - if you're no longer active, the work is quite outdated, or you've improved and built on your skills since then already, what's the point of it being further showcased and commented on when it's essentially no help and a waste of time for all parties?

Within a couple of weeks is fine, but as soon as you near the month posting margin I will infract it.

Edit: Might I add, most Gravediggers in that section only ever post "Nice" or "I like it" - I've never come across a legitimate and well written grave-digging post.

 

Agree with Alt.. I am sorry.. but I do not support this unless there will be some restrictions bound to it.
Ex. Gravedigging is only allowed when the original creator is still active, for CnC purposes etc.
I can see some bad shizzle happening when there aren't any restrictions bound to this..

 

Agree with the guys above me, gravediggers never have any relevant contribution to the topic or work at hand. It's just an excuse to rack up post count. No support here, I'll be closing threads that are getting old as well.

 

Considering 3 of the top artists have the same view....were gonna go wit that view.....denied.

If someone wants their older work cnc'd they can bump it themselves....

I wouldn't waste time infracting anything up to 21 days though.
