'Remember When' Nostalgia thread.

Remember when you were mining and those awful exploding rocks would occur?

 

I'll just leave this here.

 

I remember when the majority of people who played were nooby. There wasn't really a separation of classes like there is now. I remember having to click a billion times to store things in the bank. I remember collecting runes at that castle in the wildy. Uhmm.

 

Remember when barrows armour actually looked good

 

remember when pking was actually fun?

 

Remember clicking on the door when you had to logout?

 

Remember when the bots were minimal. Remember when playing runescape was actualy fun.

 

remember when partyroom used to be in cammy?

 

remember when everyone would gather in fally to sell things

 

Remember when JaGex wasn't a money-hungry corporation?

 

I was just going to say that!
Oh, the days where I wold merchant coal for 5gp profit a piece.

 

Remember when Pking at magebank was fun and soloing as actually a reasonable way to pk?

Remember when you could actually get kills without fighting for 3 days because your opponent has Yak and Brews to last the whole Roman army?

 

Remember how excited I was when someone died and dropped an addy (g) plate.

 

I remember when the average player wore;

D Med helm, Rune plate, D legs, Rune Boots, Dragon Scimitar, Obby shield, Obby cape, Glory Amulet.

 

Now the average player wears 100m+ in gear.

 

Remember when each of us realized we were fucking dumb asses for alching our whips? Not anymore +1Jagex.

 

Remember when there was actually a community? Like I mean, at varrock west bank there were atleast 300 people there selling anything and everything.
You went to Varrock West for armour
You went to Falador East for food
You went to Varrock East for raw lobs and rune ess
You went to Edgeville to harrass people while they were fighting
Runescape was more fun before they took out PKing and brought in the grand exchange >.<

 

Remember how the 'Blast' spell used to look when you casted it?

 

Remember when prices were stable and weren't manipulated so easily, without merchant clans and the economy depending on bots?

Before if you knew the price of something like ores, fish etc. You could easily merchant them and invest most of your money on, now there's always a risk.
