    Need Help with PS3 Connections.

Hello, I'm having some difficulties with my PS3.
Originally I had my PS3 connected to my television in standard definition using the cables. Now, I have my PS3 connected to my computer monitor through an HDMI to DVI cable, however I don't have sound.
I know I need a Red/White female to 3.5mm male jack but I don't know what speakers I can use. I'm pretty sure it needs to a subwoofer input but I don't know which ones have a subwoofer input that are good (preferable one that is $80-).

    Thank you for your help/time.

PS. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on terminology.

In order to not make another thread I'll just repost my second question here.

Most speakers nowadays will actually have male 3.5mm plugs
Get a red/white fem to 3.5 fem cable.

you cannot transmit audio using a dvi to hdmi converter, ive tried it with my computer, xbox, playstation, etc.
it has to be strictly hdmi to hdmi if not use a auxillary cable to transmit audio.

    Alright, I'll try that, thanks!

Now, I have another completely unrelated question if anyone would be so kind as to answer it.

I just recently reinstalled Windows XP on my computer (I noticed Windows 7 made it run a lot slower than when it had Windows XP), but now, whenever I try to go into DXDiag from run on the start menu, I get literally no information for what model all my cards are. How am I supposed to update my drivers without knowing any information about the cards like manufacturer or model? Everything worked fine because I reinstalled Windows XP by the way.

    Thanks Again.
