Posts that don't bump a thread

I'm not sure if this is something very simple, or very complicated, it's just a suggestion.

My suggestion is to add a box to tick off when posting on a thread, that says "do not bump thread" or do not add post-count as some users rage over that.

But mainly i'm suggesting this because of the threads in feedback over the whole issue below.

Honestly, I may or may not do this, I probably do, but it's more of a "thanks for purchasing, hope you enjoy it" sort of thing.

I mainly do trades in guide sales, and if someone says something along the lines of "omg i loved your guide", I'd like to be able to say thank you or something along that without the risk of an infraction.

If it's too hard to code in or impossible to with this, then sorry for the suggestion, it's simply an idea that could benefit the site, nothing more.

I don't agree with this for it would be quite nice to respond freely. The benefits would be quite great but it would also make spamming easier eg. someone goes to ancient thread and posts away to + count.
