Need Computer Suggestions!!

I own a macbook pro, alienware m14x, and a gaming desktop. My mac is only used for school and for work mainly typing and creating presentations. When I need to run simulations is does not have the power to efficiently so I use a high end workstation for simulation and modeling. When I played college baseball I liked the idea of gaming while on the road so I purchased an alienware m14x. The price is similar to the mac but the power is far greater for gaming and other things. I have a custom built pc just for gaming and if you really want to game custom building a rig is the way to go. I would have to agree with someone above me that the asus gaming models are overall great laptops also.

 

The question is, do you want to game? Anything Apple does, other companies do too. Sometimes even better.

 

Ok so, I purchased the new 2012 Macbok Pro and I REALLY REALLY like it. It does everything i need it do. Runs sky rim perfectly on HD settings, max detail on runescape and world of warcraft. so overall I'm really happy. going from the i5 to the i7 processor and the greater GFX card was worth it. however i can't type on the thing for shit.

 

So, how much did you pay?

alienware is good for gaming, but a little bit pricey.
