Hello. What sort of computer requirements e.g. processor etc. are needed to run RuneScape on the lowest settings without lag? Or a Simba bot. Thankyou.

Off-Topic: This is also my 1000th post :)

Well, the requirements are relatively minimal, are you trying to purchase something or use something you already have? If its something you already have, could you post the specs?

Well, I remember the minimum being 512MB of RAM, 1GHz CPU, 128MB graphics card. I am pretty sure that it would still be laggy.

As far as Simba goes, I would say close to 1GB of RAM per bot to be safe. It varies between 600MB and 800MB for me depending on what bot.

    Would that:

Run a normal RuneScape page, ignore the Simba part for now because it uses quite alot of CPU.

The sources I have been looking at Range between a 500MHz CPU and 1.5GHz cpu. I personally think 1GHz would be fine.

The cheapest computer for sale will run RS on high without lag, and any $450 computer will run it on max.
Basically, anything goes, so give us a budget and we can get a computer that will also run other things that you might need or want.
    Basically,
    3.0GHz CPU
    4GB RAM

Is all you need to run it on max. That is present in every laptop made in the past year

Runescape isn't hard to play. Give a budget and some of us will pick out a computer for you.

There's no sense getting a 1ghz processor.. my phone has that shit and it's dual core.

512mb or ram? That won't even run windows anymore.

256mb gpu? I don't even know if those still exist..

He's probably just trying to find a cheap computer, but he doesn't understand that RS requires next to nothing to run on max.

It's all good. I guess it depends what OS you plan on running then.

If you use windows 7, you could get by with less than 4GB of ram. any i5 processor and most i3's. Some of the shitty AMD's are cheap as hell too. Any gpu would help you too, so like even under $50.

It really all depends on how much you want to spend and what parts you already have.

Yeah, throw a budget out and we can put something together. Without a budget, it's really hard to be cheap. You could get by on a $400 or $350 pc for Runescape, but you'll never be able to upgrade it without buying a new PC. You've got to find a happy medium.

A budget of $100? I have no idea how much you can build one for refurbished.

That's a bit too low. Try like $250+. It depends where you're buying the parts from though..
