    Kony- Just sayin

If these people really cared, they would directly addressing the issue and promoting their cause to people who had the ability to help Uganda's government, or kill this bastard, (such as foreign governments, international aid organizations, hell even mercenaries). But instead they are peddling livestrong bands to public school children and begging for minuscule donations by way of a documentary filmed through liberal blinders.

You aren't making a difference at all.
It's stopped being about Kony or Uganda, invisible children, or corrupt goverments. It's now only just a popularity contest between who can take the most advantage of this.
Do you really think that Mercedes Benz, the company that killed hundreds of thousands of people during the Nazi regime cares one ounce about this?
    They don't.
It's simply free advertising, and making a better name for themselves.

I don't believe that their embellishment and media-friendly attitude lend themselves well to the cause because they skirt around the real cause of these problems. There is nothing wrong with wanting to help, but i feel that the only thing donating to organizations like these does is make you feel better.

You have no idea the laugh I had when I saw that Mercedes Benz supported the movement. That's irony of the highest tier.
But don't get me wrong, they have a great idea and all, and Kony is a problem. It's just that ridding the world of Kony will not change a single thing. They showed the list themselves, though he is number 1, number 2 is also a person of Uganda, as are many other people.
Kony is one of hundreds. And he is not the most harmful.

Just getting rid of that single person will not do anything.
Obama doesn't care, let's be honest here. He saw the organization growing in popularity, growing in social awareness in the past few years, and saw a golden opportunity in which to gain popularity.
He could not have said no to their plea, he had no choice.
