40+ mph on snowboard in the desert

This is just a short teaser of whats goin down in the 509.

This first hill was 40+ mph, ive been speed checked by a car going 45-50 at fastest on that hill before.

Pumping in the 10ft bowl getting my wheels slapping the coping, and a 360 boneless on the pyramid hip.

This is only a Preview/promo vid for a much, much longer and better edited downhill and freestyle rides.

haha yeah but only if i hit while on cement, i got speed wobble doing this hill one of the first times and had too slam on the left side of the board too stop it from shaking and roll into the soft sand because i was haulin ass lol.

but when i do my next video ima be wearing some sliding gloves and shin sheets so if i do need too bail i can just slide for a long ass ways.

 

That's pretty ridiculous. I'd love to try it though after some practice.

 

haha yes sir, practice and getting too know your board is the biggest in hill bombing, and having balls lol.

DEFINITELY something beginners should read before bombing their first hill, its how too prevent death wobbles/speed wobbles, and counter them or stop them without eating the pavement.

I used too get speed wobbles at like 25 mph, now i can do 40-50 and i dont want too go faster, after 50-60 is where you get death wobbles, and that is terrible, you can only control them with a mass amount of luck and skill lmao.

 

Pretty good, thought you'd be on a steeper kill though. Not sure about going 40+ on that hill either, but, you can at least command your board.

 

Is it bad that the whole time i watched this i was hoping for that one pebble to hit the wheel and make this an amazing video that would end up on Tosh.o

but out here im definitely limited too how many hills i got, we're famous for the best training place for cross country bicycling, its all flat >.<

i actually just built another board just like this but shorter and fatter, named it "Fat Bob" its sexy, and im goin for a GoPro, apparently the chick who i lent it too, her ex-boyfriend threw a bitch and broke my $400 averio camera, quite pissed...

But itll come quite soon, getting 2-4 filmers, one on the other snowboard/longboard behind me and one in a car sometimes too speed check me.

i do most the filming, all editing and all the skating, but next the actual release of this vid should have like 4-6 riders in it, including me.
