Am i playing Runescape or WoW?

Looks the same to me....

Who was in charge of updating bandos? And how much did they drink before they thought of it....

It's honestly depressing to think about how much this game has been butchered.

 

As the best selling MMO of all time would looking like WoW be a bad thing...?

 

Runecape and wow are still far apart visually, and internally they are the same game a midevil game with magic and powers. So expect them to be very similiar please stop creating these threads which are a waste of time, if you don't like it buy a xbox or better yet a ps3 that way I won't have to hear you bitch on there either.

 

They have similarities but are not the same. RS used to be great, any veteran player will agree that the updates are what makes it not enjoyable anymore. I'm sure newer players would also agree.

 

It's graphical not gameplay so don't QQ.

 

I don't really see the resemblance.

 

I don't like these graphical updates, they made some armour look better but torva,bandos,infinity and the neitiznot helm are butchered.

 

Horrible: All high-end armor
Impressive: Magic Armor, Black/Dragon Armor

 

I disagree. Infinity looks terrible.

 

Yea no joke, i use to love the old infinity.

 

I consider myself as a veteran, and I DO like these updates. It's not the updates' fault that I don't find the game as enjoyable anymore; I've just grown out of it.

 

Dunno why people come out with this crap arguments.

Some of the new graphical updates are amazing. I'm in love with the new armadyl.

FYI, i've been here since RSC almost 9 years since I've started RS. I like majority of these updates.

 

Your playing runescape if your at the website and wow if you play on client. N00b

 

most armour looks like skyrim.

 

I am not at all impressed with the updates. Simple gear like Rune now has some weird bright cyan glow. Overall, I think it looks pretty horrendous.

 

I agree, if they were going to update it then they should have made it look more realistic and not like all jagged and ugly colored.

 

I don't think this update will hinder the progress of Runescape. They need to take a step forward and take a new direction to create some aspects of modernity in the game... All the Nostalgic thoughts are welcome although Runescape does need to take a graphical step to compete with games like wow and the new guild wars 2 that is coming out.

 

Blehhh ... I feel sick of just watching that arm. It's really depressing to see that WoW look-a-like armor in RS.

Fail update.

 

The thing is that black armor has been made to look far better than mith, addy and rune.

The ones I did like were the dragon and bandos
